Kids LOVE Ahare
The Beach is but a stroll away...
Anyone for Tennis? Ahare is primarily a sports park, with a large focus on tennis. The courts start coming to life daily at 10.15am when the Tiny Tots join their coach for "The Tots Half Hour" and the childrens' coaching continues every morning until 2pm.
Adults are invited to coaching daily for both beginner and advanced lessons, you can pay as you go or "drop-in". Read more
Yoga under the sun Just when you think you cant relax any further, take a yoga class at Ahare park...  for many its the highlight of my summer, to take relaxing stress busting classes with their friends. 2010's sunshine permitted yoga classes to be held outdoors but should the sun not shine or the rain start to pour, we have a lovely hall for yogies. We have a tots play group at the same time for parents of younger children so you can relax in peace. Read more
Kids LOVE Ahare Unlike other parks Ahare is small and family run, all the mobiles and lodges have full view of the children's facilities such as the play park, kids room, cinema and games room. You can enjoy a coffee on your deck and watch your children enjoy the swings climing frames, kids play house and more. For mums its bliss! Read more
The Beach is but a stroll away... We are located 1 kilometer from the sandy shores of Kilgorman beach, you can enjoy 2 miles of seafront. Our residents love to take a relaxing walk, if they cannot be tempted in for a plunge. Pack your wet suit, this is Ireland after all. Read more

Welcome to Ahare Tennis Park

You are very welcome to our website which we hope introduces you to a little bit of the magic and fun that we have at Ahare Park. Our aim is to provide a fun atmosphere where adults and children can enjoy playing and learn sport, or simply “chilling out” in a very relaxed environment.

Ahare is Ireland's leading tennis holiday centre, but we offer much more than just tennis on site, and are also well situated whether it be for beach, golf, horse-riding, or simply enjoying the restaurants and pubs of the local area.

Ahare Park is quite unique and different from the more traditional and large mobile home parks. Currently it is home to just 14 mobile homes all nestled around three flood lit tennis courts and adjacent to Ahare house, a home to the proprietors. Each mobile has an easy view of the courts and the children's play area. There is a shared clubhouse, where facilities include a kid’s cinema, a coffee station, tots play room, laundry and games room.

Daily activities for adults include tennis coaching, with both group and private lessons available. Mid week yoga classes are appreciated by many of the Mums and on occasion even some of the brave Dads.

Children are the centre of our focus at Ahare. Our view is that busy and contented kids make enjoying the holiday period so much easier for both the children AND the adults. A children’s play park located in safe view of the mobiles provides hours of imaginative play for the little ones. Friday afternoon we run a weekly tennis tournament, and in addition to tennis, a golf practice area is also enjoyed. There are a host of non scheduled event at Ahare from picnics and BBQs, to trailer rides and treasure hunts.

Ahare park has acquired adjoining land with a view to a future expansion of the facilities. We are however very conscious that we wish to retain the “atmosphere” and feel of Ahare, and with this in mind a total of 27 sites is envisage.

We hope to see you in Ahare, whether it be on the tennis courts, or practicing your golf swing, or stretching in our Yoga Class, or simply relaxing sipping coffee on your veranda listening to the soft sound of Children playing.
